In order to diagnose failed fax sessions, a transmission log is essential. The transmission log contains all data sent to and received from the modem during a fax session along with other essential information showing the status of the session. To send a transmission log of a failed item, select the item of interest in the outbox or inbox, then click the 'View transmission log' button on the toolbar. Save to a .txt file and attach to email.
